Recess

I was taught how to be a man
By one who’s deeds no man should do.
Love for me? Yes, plenty,
But lessons I thought few.

Are I’ll gotten learnings not as
important as those learned in school?
Whether we learn from teachers
Or from those that acted as fools?

Learn by example? Or examples made?
Which is more profound?
He tought me what a man should not be.
Is not equally a good man found?
